What is ASCQR?
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Quality Reporting program is a complex program
with multiple reporting requirements and deadlines. ASCQR is designed
to promote higher quality, more efficient health care for Medicare beneficiaries
ASCQR is required. Will you go it alone or get experienced help?
If you do not participate or fail to meet the ASCQR requirements, your
center may see a
2% reduction to your CMS payment.
Helping ASCs with Quality Reporting

1–5, which are reported on claims data. We help you ensure that
G codes are included for revenue optimization.
For your Security Administrator
We help your team with ASC-8, which must be reported through the CDC website.
Inform Diagnostics also works with Security Administrators to submit ASC-6
(Safe Surgery Checklist Use) and ASC-7 (ASC Facility Volume Data on Selected
ASC Surgical Procedures). We help you maximize your participation.
For your Clinicians
Inform Diagnostics helps your center with ASC-9 (Endoscopy/Polyp Surveillance:
Appropriate Follow-Up Interval for Normal Colonoscopy in Average Risk
Patients), and ASC-10 (Endoscopy/Polyp Surveillance: Colonoscopy Interval
for Patients with a History of Adenomatous Polyps – Avoidance of
Inappropriate Use). These measures are specific to pathology, and we help
you address workflow and pathology input. Inform Diagnostics also can
help you with the voluntary ASC-11 (Cataracts: Improvement in Patient’s
Visual Function within 90 Days Following Cataract Surgery).
If you use GIQuIC
GIQuIC is a GI-specific registry that captures the quality measures from
the surgery center. It’s a qualified clinical data registry (QCDR) and is CMS-approved
for reporting quality measures.
