A Rare Case of Metastatic Cutaneous Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare vascular neoplasm most commonly found in the soft tissue, lung, liver, bone and skin. While primary cutaneous EHE may demonstrate a more indolent course than EHE at other sites, aggressive behavior with underlying bony involvement and lymph node metastasis has been reported. Increased mitotic activity and tumor size may correlate with decreased survival.
