Dermal Melanocytosis (Nevus of Ito) and Concurrent Cellular Neurothekeoma

We report an interesting case of dermal melanocytosis (Nevus of Ito) and concurrent cellular neurothekeoma occurring on the right posterior shoulder of a 32-year-old woman. Although rare, several cases of cellular neurothekeoma associated with dermal melanocytosis have been reported in the literature. These types of cases can pose diagnostic dilemmas under the microscope.
